A CAD CLASS PORTFOLIO
To showcase my love and passion for digital art, I’ve gathered my previous works from my CAD Class/Computer-Aided Design. These are the digital version of the garments I personally picked out from Polyvore. All of the images were traced using a WACOM graphic tablet on Adobe Illustrator.
Aside from that, I also learned how to draw my illustrations with colors with using the graphic table with precision. Technical fashion illustration, as well as doing a self-portrait were also introduced to us within the course.
Some of the tools I used for the task and assignments were the Brush Tool, Pencil, Fill, Eyedropper, Direct Selection Tool, and Selection Tool.
TOPS and OUTERWEAR
First, we were asked to select random pieces. But I picked mine from Polyvore since the images they had were in front view and flat. After that, we copied and then we traced them on Adobe Illustrator with our graphic tablets. Lastly, using the pencil tool, we applied colors and shadows to our artwork.
BOTTOMS
Using the method I used for the tops, I did the same thing with bottoms.
