Where to go and what to do when in Manila?
When in Manila, I usually end up in malls during a trip. Commuting around this area isn’t a thing for me since I can easily get lost. I always end up in these ordinary places that are usually malls just near the MRT Station. I even remember getting lost around Malate from Divisoria then took a GrabCar to the Trendsetter’s Bazaar instead of going home. Yes, it was an experience.
Anyway, so last April, my brother and I went around for some leisure activities because it’s his first time visiting Manila. It was quite an extended vacation, but we stayed most of the time indoors because of the summer heat. These are some of the places I visited for fun with him during our summer trip last April.
Upside Down Museum
Ticket Price: 450 per head
This place will turn your world not only upside down, but it may also be sideways or even make you look like a giant! It’s a place to be goofy and be yourself. Be patient enough, and you’ll have the best photos taken! Before leaving, you can pass by the cafe and find something to eat too.
Ticket Price: 699 per head
A perfect place for a sweet tooth and an Instagram savvy person like me. You can practically eat the whole place up! If you haven’t read my blog post about the Dessert Museum, you can check it out here.
City Kart Racing
For an on-the-wheel experience, grab a ride and take it to the tracks!
Ticket Price: 500 per head (discounts available for groups)
Play detective and test your wits, solve mysteries with your team (might be your family or friends). You are only given an hour to look for clues and find your way out.
Manila Ocean Park
Ticket Price: depends on the package
So far, this is the best place for a family day! You can refer to my Manila Ocean Park blog post here.
